Cross Roads Convention
Phew, I'm back.
Although not even slept with my condition is used.
The absolute madness!
I was more than just pessimistic set the Con compared with only B and C stars and as it also meant that David would Nykl on Friday do not show up and give it to him until the following day a meet and greet would, "murmured many a a "What a coincidence" (as Paul McGillion last year not on time was published).
It was even suggested Wolfevents had not planned from the beginning the expensive Stars to engage the whole weekend.
But the surprise guest Chuck Campbell tore everything out again.
The "Button Pusher" from Stargate Atlantis just has a great sense of humor and made it within a few minutes the mood swirling fully let. Luciana Carro
Currie and Patrick first had to be warm, but on Sunday they were both as replacement and joked like real-Con veterans.
Luciana's report on the meeting with Al Pacino .. I had real trouble staying seated on my chair, I laughed tears!
The workshops (especially the last with all the stars) were just great! I have since felt a million years (probably since the last WofCon) not laughed so much.
Brian made the actor a part of the "Urgo" scripts in different moods / interpret in various ways, as small children, old grannies and grandpas, as a musical or a Shakespeare play.
God, I'm still sore from laughing!
Peter Williams, the SG-1 Apophis performer, used the Con his new film "A Winter Tale" initiative.
A very serious movie that deals with violence in the Canadian working class, all in all seems worth while but the slang is plentiful but exhausting.
At the Meet and Greet, he whispered to us, the question whether we can perhaps Apophis in a mini-roll in the movies to that would be actually the case. * * Froi
I was never a big fan of Apophis, but Peter is just cute. : D
He said that he was shopping in Hanover and a lot of "Milka Nuss" has as concerned as a new Braun shaver, with every con he get the one that was sufficient until the next Con in Germany. * Gg *
He also surprised us with some German expressions and congratulated Con a participant on the birthday (in German, no flax!).
Chuck Campbell squeezed our Bavaria regardless of whether and where it Spaetzle give and whether he could perhaps get a prescription. (What ensued a discussion of whether he can in the supermarket get edible noodles or not. P)
When David Nykl on Saturday morning, then appeared very even with Chuck on the stage there was no holding back, the audience was enraptured, and with many Insider information and stories about Set-nonsense he inspired the cheering fans. But he
Becket to a small Fanskandal: the translation of the German speaking parts Zelenka Zelenka Czech but no Russian!
He has not even much of translations, because accents jokes or simply vanish and thus the performance of the actors do not can be assessed. I have to agree with him fully, how often did you first get it in the original which in this or that scene is really funny.
All in all a wonderful time again Con and I wish all wolves have many great Cons!
