recently launched Phil an email to me further, informing us, was that the sender had no problem with homosexuality, but he would not understand, what makes us the appeal of yaoi in Digimon. Since I got this question been asked frequently, I've decided to briefly write about it.
Well, where should I start? The best at the beginning ...

To be honest, I have only started to watch Digimon, because I stumbled just before the Germany-start the series on a few pages that were pairing Taito (Taichi & Yamato) perspectives. Yes, it is true: I had no idea what the series was all about - but the fact that one or the other interesting yaoi couples could happen in the series, sparked my interest. ^ _ ^
certainly can not now understand any, so I'll try you my opinion on the topic 'Why do so many girls (and Phil .. ^. ~) Yaoi? " to get closer.

First of all I must say that I am not much difference between the sexual preferences of the people (or anime characters ^ _-) do. For me it is simple in principle the same whether it is a girl and a boy, a boy and a girl or a boy and a girl now. Much more I pay attention to how the characters interact. And be but let's face it - would be either at Taichi Yamato or be a girl, no one would doubt their undying love (think only of the many fans of the pairing Ryo x Ruki, which have indeed certain parallels). Pairings like Takeru x Hikari, or I think - to be honest - just plain boring. Clichéd. The main male character gets the female lead Chara. How exciting ... * Yawn * (This is not offensive to fans of this pairing meant they speak to me only in any way!)
Another point that must not deny me, is the fact that I as a woman just find it very interesting how two men with each other ... you know! * Laugh * Yes, it is simply this: Two pretty men, snuggle and no 'disruptive' woman to whom one must be jealous - I beg you! This has something. . ^ ~ (Yes, the flesh is weak ...)
course, I also like some straight pairings in Digimon (such as x Koushirou Mimi, Daisuke x Hikari and Ryo x Ruki) - but the larger stimulus (especially in fanfiction) make the Complications that can arise in a homosexual relationship. The 'Secret' and 'special' in these relationships (although it is quite unfortunate that homosexuality is sometimes still must apply as a taboo topic) is more interesting than a 'normal' male / female relationship - not always, but this is me noticed as manager of the DigimonCity-Fanfics, very often.
